Its interesting how different people consider social media. As my husband joins me in the business, he is having to learn social media from scratch. For our generation its a love / hate thing. For many women it has been a way to share the struggles of every day life, especially through the challenging times of child rearing, returning to work and the dreaded lockdown. For my husband it feels like an absolute betrayal of his personal space. However, as we continue to build our business, it is so important that people meet the real us - as people buy from people. You can't hide behind product pictures and flashy canva artwork - you have to be genuine, vulnerable and visible. You have to take the LEAP to gain the success. We're back! Little late to starting the new year with a bang - as life threw us a bit of a lemon. Our new year started with nearly a month in hospital with our daughter, who struggled with the viral chest infection that is everywhere. While sitting with her and watching her struggle, it really brought home the precious time we have with our family and loved ones. We need to make the moments count. Why do we spend so much of it at a desk, spinning to earn to get some snippets of family time?? I found myself even trying to do an email here and catch a conf call there while she was drawing while sitting in her bed. STOP - BE WITH HER - CUDDLE HER - LISTEN TO HER. That is the whole reason we are embracing our new approach to earning - Leap 4 Success. Making the time you work meaningful, impactful, financially rewarding and under your own control. Regret or Memories. Which would you rather have. I've already missed too many half terms and school plays trying to push ahead at work. Who noticed???? Only my kids. Enough now. We live a life today, saving the memory, reaching the goals.
