The 1/4scale Explorer, Safari all fits nicely together but I am not going to finish it so I am offering it to someone who would like to complete it at R2500 . Wingspan is 2.5m and is suitable for 90 to 120 motors

The .40 size Skyfire is now avail;able, it comes as a short and full wood kit which includes all the laser cut parts, plans, building instructions with hinges, hornes and wing bolts.

Who remembers the Skyfire from way back when. With laser cutting I have redesigned the construction while keeping the wing profile and dimentions with all its great qualities of a flying model. While many learnt to fly with it others learned to do all the aerobatic manouvers. Thje plan is used to build the stab and fin , everything else is basically an assembly process. The wingspan is 2.07m and anything from a 90 to 120 fourstroke or .90 to 120 nitro. I can be contacted on cell 082 487 1254 for further details

I put the Explorer fuselage aside to construct the wings, from laying out the pieces necessary to assemble the wing it took me an hour to do , what a difference in building from way back when we didnt have laser cutting at our disposal.

I found some more time to assemble the rest of the Explorer fuselage, now to make the stab and fin .
The third scale is exactly the same construction only bigger plus the Kitfox also follows this construction

Here starts the build of the KFA Explorer, firstly one needs to laminate all the pieces that need laminating, this just ensures that when you start building there are no holdups while you wait for the glue to set. I use wood glue for everything and only use super glue when I need to. While the glue is setting one can go ahead and do the structure aft of the cabin area, again only wood glue is used.

The new kitfox 7 series kits are also done in both 1/4 scale (1.97 m ) and 1/3 scale (2.6m )
The kits will have all the laser cut parts plus plan and building instructions with photos, glass fiber cowl, material for windscreen and windows , alumium tubes for the wings and struts

Here is the first cutting of the KFA Explorer , six sheets with over 200 pieces to be assembled , the kit will have all these plus plans and building instructions with photos, glass fiber cowl, material for windscreen and windows plus alumium for the wings and struts. The 1/4scale wingspan is 2.3m and motor 15to 20cc , the 1/3rd scale 3.2m wingspan and motor a 55cc is more than sufficient
