We had the fantastic Garden MAD Debby Shapiro visit us at the school and she took the Eco Tribe through a process of writing "Enjoy Yourselves and be Welcome" in flowers! Beautiful violas etc. Right by the entrance to welcome fellow learners and visitors to the school. Bringing some colour and happiness to the courtyard. Cant wait for them to flower! Wow what a massive harvest!!! On the 26th July we harvested from the Salt River High School, where Gugulethu Urban Food Forest Initiative has our Eco Tribe project with the learners who have assisted us with growing the following fresh organic vegetables this season:
500 grams carrots
1kg parsley
8kg lettuce heads (30)
12kg spinach / kale
5kg spring onions.

Each Eco Tribe member got a bag of freshly harvested veggies to take home to their families to proudly show how they have contributed to the wellness of the entire school, as the veggies that they have grown go to the school kitchen where delicious and nutritious meals are cooked for the learners, as many of them are not able to get nutritious food at home.

If anyone needs a lovely room with good clear energy to use as a workspace/workshop/office/therapy healing room etc .... please DM me. Could also be used for small ceremonies and workshops. It's in Observatory, Cape Town.

This is a real treat, to hang out with world renowned artist Arlene Amaler- Raviv at her studio this Saturday. Artwork will be on show and for sale... small and large pieces.
