John Pierre (JP) Weideman, (DF Malan Skool) may be young, but no big achievements ever arrive without hard work and sacrifices. JP is an incredibly hard working, disciplined and talented junior athlete All these medals have taken guts, pain and sheer determination. JP makes it clear that he is here to win, he is hungry to win on the big stage too. His humble, quiet persona masks whats really going on in his strong-willed heart and mind. He has recently returned from participating in the ITU World Cross triathlon Championships and Aquathlon Championships which were held in Fyn, Denmark. Many valuable lessons learnt, knocks taken, achievements gained. We look forward to following your career. Well done JP!

SCR Academy hosted their Biathle Summer Series Event #5 on Friday 24 February. Again, a great group of real athletes, giving it their all. Determined, dedicated, disciplined and focused racers - racing short sharp events often, has many valuable lessons 1) racing isn't easy 2) gains in fitness and racing experience 3) hones racing skills 4) you don't always have to win 5) learn from mistakes and take away the positives 6) racing=hard workouts with company 7) racing allows you to measure progress easily 8) racing can be fun!
