12 years later… back where it all started 🤍
We went back to Bonfleur today, and although I’ve been back plenty of times over the years — coaching, running confidence clinics and schooling other horses — I realised I haven’t actually brought Blanco back here since our very first visit in 2014!
12 years ago. This is where it all started for us. 🥹
Today was deliberately kept very low-key. No pressure, no big goals — just having fun, enjoying being out together and making a few more memories with my old girl. 🤍
There was A LOT of splashing 💦😂 and it may have started a new plan… I now really want to take Blanco somewhere we can actually go swimming together. So if anyone has recommendations for good horse swimming spots/trips, send them my way!
Thank you to for another lovely day. I’ve had so many great times here over the years, and the course is looking fantastic. Considering the summer we’ve had, so much work has clearly gone into keeping the take-off and landing areas soft, and the new water complex is brilliant. There have been loads of improvements since I was last here and so many different options to play with.
And a huge thank you Megan Palmer and Debbie Palmer for letting me tag along with you today — it was very much needed. 🥰
