Melkbosstrand High School has a very special place in the hearts of the children who attend it and the parents who are privileged to send their children here.

Its a school all my children have been blessed to attend. I always wanted to make them a mosaic emblem... They deserve it. Every school deserves one its a heritage piece that stands the test of time!
They didn't have one and I really wanted to make them one to thank them for all the love they have poured into my girls.

This year they lost a scholar and their headmaster all In 4 days of each other 😭
So I fast forwarded my plan to surprise them with something beautiful to make the school smile again... And made them this emblem for the entrance to the school!

They only knew I was making it once I was half way through... But look how beautiful and now it proudly stands at the entrance of this Magnificent school.

My heart bursts for this school!

A little something personal I've been working on as a gift to a school so deserving of something as special as they are.

Melkbosstrand High school is just the most amazing school and it's all because of the teachers and the effort they put into the children.
They recently lost a student and their Headmaster in less than week.
It was an incredibly sad time and still continues to be as the school finds its feet again against this immense loss.

So to honour my own children's time at the school and as tribute to this fantastic school I got going on creating something they do not have and really should have... Is a mosaic school emblem!

I'll hand it over this week as a surprise and wait till they decide where it should be placed.... An amazing piece for a more amazing school. Every school should have a mosaic badge 👌

From start to finish... Our Octopus with Antique Brass Diving Helmet is now safely in his forever home under water 😍

My clients had been wanting to do this for their new home for months. Lots of talk, finally had the project underway to be able to complete the pool area.
