We have been selected for Liberty Promenade’s Power of Sport Mandela Day Initiative! From 7–27 July 2026 you can help our club win a donation simply by dropping your till slip into the Westridge Yankees voting box at the Liberty Promenade Food District.

How to help:
Shop at any Liberty Promenade store.
Spend R100 or more.
Write “Westridge Yankees” on the back of your till slip.
Drop the slip into the Westridge Yankees box.

Every slip counts. Your support helps fund uniforms, coaching, equipment, and opportunities for young players in our community.

For 35 years, Westridge Yankees Baseball and Softball Club has stood as more than just a Club. We've become a home, a family and a place where talent, discipline and community spirit come together. From 1991 to today, the Yankees have built a proud legacy rooted in hard work, unity and a deep love for the game .

Over the years, the club has grown through the dedication of its players, coaches, parents, volunteers, and supporters. Every practice, every match, every victory, and every setback has helped shape the strength and identity of the Westridge Yankees.

This 35 year journey celebrates the young and old athletes who gave their all on the field, the coaches who led with passion and the community that continued to believe in the club through every season. It is a tribute to the legacy built by those who came before and the future being created by those wearing the Yankees colours today .

As we celebrate this remarkable milestone, we honour the memories, achievements and moments that have defined Westridge Yankees Baseball and Softball Club.
