Method Living

Don’t miss your turn! Options can become the enemy of your peace. A decision is not what is essential - but how you walk the path by faith, not by sight. If you get too far ahead, you might not hear the voice of God leading you. You will come to a point when you have done all you can do and you don’t have control of the direction your life is taking, this is when you need to remember that God’s always got your back. Isaiah 30:21 - Don’t forget your calling, your true mission. John 10:10 - The thief only comes to destroy and kill, Jesus came to give us life to the full. When we come to a point where life is hard and painful, it’s easy to forget. Let nature takes its course, breathe and listen to the voice of God.

As early as I can remember I had a dream, a desire, and a need - to be loved, cared for, and protected. Life has thrown its hardships of broken promises, lies, death, and despair at me. Leaving me empty and torn. I have been in total darkness, with no end in sight. Wishing death upon myself. In choked desolation. Hearing about “hope”, listening to “good advice”, and trying to grasp the idea of “feeling truly worthy” of those faraway dreams, desires, and needs.

Becoming a mother has blessed me with the wholeness only a child can bring. Being a teacher has blessed me to comfort little broken hearts and curious minds. Giving others advice and guidance with which I have received has blessed me to be a voice of hope, even though I yearn to experience that complete security myself. Dealing with feeling too much and forcing it down to not feel that extreme pain that haunts me.

Being a child of God has blessed me with the understanding that all of this is only a glimpse, a moment in eternity, and that I am completely loved, cared for, and protected by Him that created me. When I find myself in darkness, in small spaces where I can not breathe, I see the light and reach out to the Holy Spirit. Life is full of lies - no one is going to save me, because I have been saved. I need to walk this truth, live by it, and remind myself at times like these. I will be ok, I am light, I am whole. Lay my heavy heart at the feet of God and rest in His hands. My journey on earth has its ups and downs and I might falter - but I do know that God stays the same, forever love, forever strength, forever there, never to neglect or isolate or abandon (A reminder to myself). Amen

We are all guilty of not being in the now... occupied by worry and fear. Stop wasting precious time, which you can never have back once you've used it.

Words are extremely powerful 🔥 It's a fact that 'giving' sets off 'receiving', 'action - reaction'. Therefore, compliment others, speak love and kindness over others and it will bounce right back at you! 🥰

You are the root of your tree of life - so, what fruit are you bearing? What season are you in? If the roots are not healthy, the tree will die...

Bad habits can become the 'norm', don't let the 'norm' become a curse...

Being lost or stuck in only 'existing' is an agonizing feeling that can keep you inside a 'hole' and make you believe, that this is just 'life'... No Dear... You are here to love and laugh and cry and dance...

The Alchemist, by Paulo Coelho gave me much insight about following your heart... I read it at the beginning of my travelling days - 16 years ago... Still following my heart.
