2025 Fee Structure and Permits

Day permits are available at The Hanger Bike Co. or the kiosk at Helderplaas. Helderberg Trails Year Permits are part of the Winelands Local Board or Regional Memberships:

Regional Board Memberships will be available for purchase
and use starting 1st December 2024. Membership fees
support the maintenance and expansion of Wine Lands trail networks ensuring safe, high-quality experiences across all partner networks.

Annual Membership Options

Access to over 1,335 km of trails across all partner networks including the newly added Muratie Trails. Includes affiliation
with the Wine Lands Cycling Club, allowing members to apply for a Cycling South Africa (CSA) license.

Fees: R2,250 for adults | R1,800 for juniors and pensioners.

Access to around 200 km of trails, including:

Helderberg Farm, Spier Wine Estate, Ernie Els, Dornier, Avontuur, Stellenzicht, and Faure.

Fees: R1,000 for adults | R450 for juniors | R700 for seniors.

The Eskom line has been switched off but please avoid it on the climb up to heart break hill.

WARNING ⚠️ Trails closed for this weekend at least please ! There are also safety concerns that need to be sorted this weekend. The storms were way worse than we expected. Most trails are affected . We are aware but seriously the clean up is going to take some time . Please have some patience.
