We’re a race team based in Cape Town. We’re more of a rider coaching than race bike prep work however we are working on that.

If you need rider coaching don’t hesitate to ask.

2019 Season Review:

What started off a year for learning quickly became a year focused on winning the championship.
After Round one with an amazing maiden pole and double win we quickly realized that we were a lot stronger than we gave ourselves credit for.

We quickly became the team to beat and the rider to beat, but Hayden displayed a more mature and calculated form of riding which ultimately lead him to taking his 7th title with 12 wins in a row.

The year had its ups and downs but it never brought us down, our head technician Jacques knew what Hayden wanted and together they developed a bike (which was very standard to his competitors) which was ultimately setup perfect for Hayden and allowed him to find a good rhythm all season long.

Hayden walks away from 2019 with his first every SBK championship in his rookie year, that’s 7 titles in 9 years and has quickly become one of the most decorated riders in the field here in Cape Town.
His dedication to training away from the circuit and his approach to each race was the reason why he was able to get the job done. Focusing on his body and mind he knew he was both physically and mentally fit for any challenge that came his way.

A very big well done to Hayden on this achievement and a big well done to our team for the effort we put in this year!

2020? Guess we’ll wait and see.

A big thank you to our sponsors for making this years possible.

So this weekend we’ve been given the opportunity to test Bridgestone Tires in the Bridgestone SBK class.
Although we not competing in the National SBK class the objective is to test the tyres on the same track conditions and give back data for the series next year as Bridgestone will be the tyre of choice for the series next year.

We’ve gained sufficient data and knowledge from the tyres, they are between 0.7 to 1.0 sec slower but have better tyre life and overall feel. Still more adjustments must be made the bike but on the whole the general feeling is good and we’re happy with it.

A massive thank you to Bridgestone South Africa, Ian Haewood and Roy Gardner for the opportunity to ride and to help out and assist with the the development.

The Wp motors YzF-R1 starts on pole for both heats in the Bridgestone SBK class.

The road to number 7.

So far the season has been nothing short of magical. We have had our ups and downs but still we come out on top proving over and over again that we’re a strong team and we have have the determination to win.

We are 6 rounds into the season and Hayden Jonas has won every single heat this season so far, an unprecedented 12 wins from 12 starts in his rookie season in the premier class aboard his R1.

This weekend we head into round 7 with one goal in mind, to finish what we started and claim the championship. Jonas is just 8 points shy of making it championship number 7 on his 21st birthday.
After graduating from the supersport 600cc class with an astounding 4 championships, it will be incredible to claim another championship in a new class as a rookie.

Jonas’s first championship came in 2011 and since then he has claimed a championship in every single class only missing out on two championships, 2013 power sport championship and the 2016 supersport 600cc championship. Both years he was struck with constant technical problems and bad luck but came back the following year to win another championship.

This weekend will be no different to any other, we have one goal in mind and that’s to perform at our best and walk away victorious from the war.

We would like to thank our sponsors for making this all possible for 2019:

Undefeated Jonas, makes it 10 wins from 10 starts.

Saturday saw another double win for Jonas at the 5th round of the power series. After qualifying yet again on pole position the kid came home with another double win making it 10 victory’s in a row.

Heat one saw Jonas get a terrible start to sit P3 for the first lap before he made his way past Slamet and Westman. But Jonas encountered some problems as the exhaust and fuel tank cracked meaning he was loosing power plus he was suffering major brake fade and handling issues. But remarkably he stayed on and fought through to bring it home in P1 5sec clear of 2nd

Heat two was a little bit more challenging, with dark clouds looming over head and some signs of rain we were getting nervous. The rain held off for the race however it did start spitting mid way through the heat. Jonas put his hand up wanting to call for the end of the heat however not to his luck, he found grip and found that the track was in fact okay and pushed on to put the fastest lap of the heat in that very next lap and come home 3sec clear of 2nd.

Jonas made it 10 wins from 10 starts and now increases that all important championship lead!

We would also like to extend our gratitude to the Haupt family for not only supporting Hayden but for coming to the rescue with a new exhaust and few extras, helping Hayden get on track for heat two.
We would also like to thank Roland Weinger for welding the tank between heats.
Without these special people we wouldn’t have claimed number 10.

Well done to all the other competitors.

See you at the next one!
