On Friday, our team experienced a disheartening 4-0 loss to Citizen FC, the reigning champions. Nevertheless, this defeat was offset by the exceptional performance of our young players.

Despite competing against a team with seasoned players, it was inspiring to witness a 15-year-old player being recognized as one of the standout performers of the day.

Flamingo FC fielded the youngest players on Friday, with three of them successfully playing the full 90 minutes. These players included Liyema Nyameli, 15, who played in goal Saved 2 out of 4 penalities of the match.

Lisakhanya Qawu, 15, who played as central attacking midfielder; Solwam Msengana, 16, who played as left back; and Lingomso Tyabule, 16, who was a substitute.

Additionally, our under-18 players, Njeza Sisonke, 17, Liyema Mxobo, 18, Kamva Jejana, 19, and Hlelolwenkosi Menziwa, 17, delivered impressive performances.

We would like to express our heartfelt appreciation to these young players for their outstanding display. Their presence, whether on the field or on the sidelines, had a profound impact. After losing the game against Hotspurs FC Academy by default. The LEDs went out for war today

Yesterday, we suffered a loss against Computer Stars after taking the lead, courtesy of one of our under-14 players. Unfortunately, we failed to capitalize on our advantage and were caught off guard.

Today, we faced a must-win situation against Happy Hearts Academy. The boys demonstrated a clear understanding of the task at hand and delivered a dominant performance. We secured victory through set pieces, including a penalty kick by Poro (U-14) and a free kick by Biza. Although we created scoring opportunities, we were unable to convert them, serving as a valuable learning experience.
