Yemoja imbues the name of the ‘goddess of the ocean’ and the ‘feminine principle of creation’. We felt that our designs were womanly and also the flowing aspect of water was harmonic with our dream, to take the vibrant, African fabrics and textiles from Cape Town across the seas. Yemoja is bursting colors, Yemoja is happiness, diving into life to the fullest and intertwining cultures and countries

It‘s been a while since we last connected to all of you. We had life changing situations like Tiz‘s move back to Switzerland and not finding the time - as we initially hoped - to keep YEMOJA fully alive. She was still breathing but not thriving. It is a simple calculation with any business: you have to put energy in, for the engines to work properly.
The question that bothered us for the last year and a bit was: „How do you successfully manage a business with having full time jobs to fulfill in a different country?“ The answer that is so obvious came eventually: „You find someone amazing and brillant and let her run with it.“ Ok. We did. And we are so happy to announce that YEMOJA will get a fresh breeze with Betina, our new Manager, Designer, literally the woman that came out of nowhere to get this baby back in the game. It feels so grown up to have employed someone and we are ready for the next chapter.
At this point also a big thank you to everybody who has supported us through the hard times and believing in us. Without you we might not have pushed through this all. Big love ❤️ We will come back stronger and better than before. Watch this space.

Somedays are just for fun and selfies on a park bench. .
We were actually trying to find a fun pose to take a picture with our new award but gave up after a while. You see why. Since we don't often post selfies we feel ok with this series. Like it?
Nevertheless we had a great night out and still don't know how to strike a pose. So awesome to be together again. 👯

Jetzt mussten wir uns aber ganz schön beherschen, diese Neuigkeiten nicht schon zu verplappern in den letzten Tagen. Was für eine grosse Ehre, wir haben eine Ausschreibung bei Daniela Katzenberger gewonnen als Love & Style Talent Frühjahr/Sommer 2017! WOW, so so glücklich!
It took us a lot of restraint not to tell you all before. We won a love & style talent competition at Daniela Katzenberger. What an honor. We are over the moon! So so so happy!
