Cultivate your story and live your preferred life.
This year I will be presenting the relationship module of this programme (for the second years) This training is something you do firstly for you, and as you heal or grow it starts to have an impact on others. Then you realise 'But hey, I can do this and make a sustainable difference in the world around me'
Information evening tonight and the first years start next Monday evening (online) or Tuesday morning (Centurion): RSVP https://tinyurl.com/RSVP-Info-PNT26-last

On Saturday 22 November 09:30 in Centurion I'm open to meet ministry colleagues as part of extending our pastoral care leadership network. I would love to meet you.
I invite colleagues from all denominations.
---
The heart of this initiative is to build a care leadership community where we can:
• Share our struggles, strengths, and insights with one another.
• Focus on care for the caregiver, creating a safe space for honesty and renewal.
• Learn together as we strengthen the fabric of leadership within our churches.
• Think together about the kind of processes and culture in our congregations that sustain pastoral care work and helping our people flourish as we seek to connect them to the heart of God.
We look forward to journeying together as we nurture care, connection, and collaborate in ministry.

Ministry colleagues. We are expanding our Pastoral Care Leadership Network. You can be located anywhere but especially if you can meet me briefly in person on Saturday 22 November 09:30, that would be lovely.
Please invite your pastors and leaders at the church in your community.

The answer sheet 😀😀🎆 to who is a keeper.
I've posted this challenge last week (ensure that you also look at the original image for the contrast).
If you haven't done it with your partner you must do it. It's not that the answers presented are correct. It's more about how you figure it out together.
So this is what we came up with. 💓💙
💚 If your partner displays these characteristics or behaviours you know you've got a keeper. Or, if both of you put in effort to adopt as many of these as often as possbille then you'd want to keep them close. I also share the previous image.
1. When they recognise that you are sharing your emotions not arguing
2. When they are committed to understanding you
3. Set you at ease about sharing your heart and mind
4. Acknowledge your views and contributions, step in (not withdraw), support you raising your views
5. Fond of, and long for your presence in their life
6. Open and willing to show empathy when you're vulnerable
7. Show enthusiasitic wholehearted participation in the give and take dance of reciprocity
9. Open to share, give, and receive love
10. Heal more than hurt you
11. Open to, accept, recognise the importance of (not minimising), support you in sharing
Here is a challenge. 🎯💚🚩
How many can you rewrite into gratitude and then thanking your person for any of them, or that you both can commit to in its rewritten form. I will update with my suggestions later in the week.
I saw the pictue on the web. But much of the web focuses on negative traits. So, ...
⭐ Think about what the both of you want and not what you don't want in the first instance✨ Sort of a green-flag 💚 list not a red-flag 🚩approach.
