Charity Soccer Spectacular

In what seemed like a final before the final, a repeat fixture of last year's semi final graced us with more goals on the day. Paramount Masters came in to this one as the underdogs, considering their defeat when they locked horns in the 2nd Annual Charity Soccer Spectacular, 2021.

Khelina Masters came in as favorites based on their squad depth and experience in the calibre of their players. However Paramount Masters had a point to prove and needed to settle the scores.

Paramount netted the first goal, as all seemed to be going in Paramount's favor, Khelina Masters scored and made it one all. More chances were created by both teams, attacking across all sides, when suddenly Paramount took the lead again, making it 2-1, they created more chances after their second goal but couldn't convert any.

Khelina's experience came into play when they kept on knocking in the doors of Paramount, until eventually the doors opened through a cross that met a diving header on the far post. The match ended with a two all draw.

Khelina Masters won 6-5 on penalties, securing them a spot in the final for the 3rd time.

First Match the defending Champions School of Excellence took on Mtoni Masters who were debuting in the tournament.

After an intense first half which ended with no goal from both sides, both teams were looking at coming back from the break with an improved gameplan.

We saw School of Excellence attacking more, while Mtoni kept their composure and tried to hit on break attacks. Unfortunately for Mtoni Masters, SOE found the back of the net, which resulted in confidence boost, as they scored a second goal, ending the match two goals to nil.
