Osteoporosis is a disease that cause the bones to become weak and brittle. This increases the risk for bone fractures. Osteoporosis usually has no symptoms and causes no pain until a sudden bone break usually in your hip, spine, or wrist. These breaks are more prevalent in older adults having balance problems and falling.

Osteoperosis is diagnosed through a specific type of Xray measuring bone density.
To manage this disease and prolong its effects, exercises is a wonderful tool, especially weight training and light impact movements. This helps to stimulate the cells in the bones that helps to build the bone.
It is important take Calcium, and also Vitamin D (Get some son)😜. Vitamin D helps with Calcium absorption.

Your posture has a significant impact on your mental health.

Upright and open posture improves brain activity by putting less stress on your nervous system. When your neck goes into a forward position due to rounded shoulders, it puts pressure on your Vagus nerve. This specific nerve responds to stress and activates your fight and flight response. This causes muscular tension, anxiety, dizziness and even digestive issues.

Effects of good posture on mental health:
- Higher self esteem
- Reduced stress and anxiety
- Increased confidence
- Increased energy
- Increased focus

Sitting upright acts as a tool of stress management.
