The We Balance C2C XCC is focused on creating opportunities for young riders to develop confidence, skills, bike handling, and race experience in a safe, exciting, and family-friendly environment. The event forms part of the Eden Cycling Development, Transformation & Talent Identification Programme, helping to identify and nurture the next generation of cyclists.

Whether it’s your child’s first race or they’re already chasing podiums, every rider has a place on the start line.

🌟The C2C Kids Cycling Academy Holiday Training Camp is here! 🌟

A fun-filled morning focused on skills, confidence, learning, and plenty of cycling fun for young riders.

Spaces are limited to only 15 riders per group to ensure more focused coaching and personal attention.

The camp will include:
🚴 Bike handling & balancing skills
🔧 Basic bike care & mechanical checks
🥤 Basic race nutrition for young cyclists
💪 Strength exercises for young cyclists
🎯 Fun cycling games & obstacle challenges
🚵 Endurance ride & confidence-building activities
📘 Parent basic cycling guidance booklets

🌭 Includes a boerewors roll & juice

The smiles, laughter, excitement, and energy before, during, and after the race reminded us exactly why these events matter so much.
A heartfelt thank you to every parent who puts in the effort, loading bikes, travelling, waiting on the sidelines, and giving your children the opportunity to simply be kids, to play, grow, and build confidence through cycling.
This event marked the very first race forming part of the Eden Cycling Development, Transformation & Talent Identification Programme, and we are incredibly excited to watch these young riders grow into the future of cycling.
A massive thank you to We Balance for their continued support in helping us host these events, and to Frontier Medix for always ensuring our events comply with the necessary medical and safety protocols.
Shout out to our marshals and our lead out riders, you guys are the back bone of the event.

We are super excited to announce that the We Balance C2C Mini MTB events are now officially part of Eden Cycling’s Development, Transformation & Talent Identification Programme! 🌟

This is a massive step forward in creating more opportunities for young riders, growing cycling within our region, and helping identify and develop future talent within the Eden district.

This development initiative is aimed at getting more kids on bikes, creating a fun and encouraging environment where young riders can build confidence, improve their skills, and gain the experience needed to eventually participate in Schools Cycling events and the Eden Cycling Series 🚴‍♂️🔥

We invite all schools, clubs, teams, coaches, parents, and riders to come and be part of the journey as we continue building cycling from grassroots level upwards.
