JUDGMENT DAY: Shebeshxt’s Fate to Be Decided in Bail Ruling

All eyes will be on the Polokwane Magistrate’s Court on Wednesday, 17 December 2025, as judgment is expected in the bail application of Lekompo musician Shebeshxt, born Lehlogonolo Katlego Chauke.

The state and defence wrapped up their closing arguments on Monday, 15 December. The defence told the court that Shebeshxt can afford bail set at R50,000, while the state remains firmly opposed to his release.

Magistrate Godfrey Netshiozwi is expected to hand down his ruling at 11:30, a decision that could determine whether the artist walks free or remains behind bars.
