The Harties events may be done for 2026, but the mountains are not going anywhere.
The off-season is not a reason to stop, it is a reason to build. To run for the love of it. To get stronger, explore new trails, and come back to Harties Trail Experience 2027 ready for everything!

What a season!! 🤘
It started back in February with the River Trail, built through the Trail Fest, and finished where it always had to: 83, 42, 23 and 12 kilometres out on the mountain at the Harties Loop.
If your legs are still talking to you about it, good.
That means it counted.
You climbed ridgelines most people never get to see, crossed the dam wall, ground (and swore) your way up climbs, and came down trails that asked everything of you.
Whether you ran your first trail race or you were out there chasing longer distances... you earned every step and every medal.
We watched people do genuinely remarkable things this year 🙌 and can't wait to see you next year again!

Since the very first Harties Loop four years ago, Edward has stood on that start line every single year without fail.
No excuses. No skipping. He has showed up, year after year, on some of the toughest trails in the country!

None of this is possible without the people who open their gates and land for us.
To every landowner and venue who allowed the Harties Trail Experience to use their land throughout the 2026 series and this past weekend - thank you.
The passage to these trails exists because of you. The views our runners get to experience, the mountains they get to climb, the finish lines they get to cross - all of it happens on land that people have generously shared with us for each event.
