That means we’re now proudly registered with three equestrian associations, and ready to bring you even more of what we all love:

Le Godimo Horse Trials is officially once again a registered Show Holding Body with Eventing SA — and we can finally say it out loud…

Our first show back will be a One Day Event on 31 October! 🎃✨

Yes, we hinted at November… but we just couldn’t wait that long 😉

The team has been hard at work raising heights, cutting tracks, preparing arenas, moving jumps, and trying to remember how all the moving parts come together (it’s like riding a bay gelding — you don’t forget, but there’s definitely a moment of “oh yes, that’s how!” 😅).

We are beyond excited to welcome you back to our start box, our dressage arenas, and our cross-country tracks.

We’re proud to share that Le Godimo Horse Trials has officially been approved as a Show Holding Body for SASA (South African Showing Association)! 🇿🇦🌿

Preparations are already underway to ensure our arenas are in tip-top condition — ready to showcase beautifully turned-out horses and riders in true style.
But before we host our very first official Showing show… we’d love your input 👀
Would you like us to run a few Showing clinics beforehand?
A chance to polish presentation, work on ring craft, and build confidence before stepping into the show ring?

It’s incredible to look back at how far Le Godimo Horse Trials has come — from setting up dressage arenas on grass to building the facilities we’re proud of now.
And let’s just say… November seems to hold a special place in our history. 👀

Our cross-country tracks and arenas have seen countless partnerships grow, confidence bloom, and riders take on challenges they once thought impossible. And now… we’re getting ready to bring it all back.

Before the days of Google Maps and digital course plotting, our course designers sat down with nothing but a pencil, paper, and a whole lot of imagination to map out the routes for our very first Le Godimo Horse Trials!

Congratulations to Louise and Capital Stud - Warmblood Champions Camarine!

We are so proud of this pair as they strutted their stuff in the Newcomers Show Hunter and Show Riding Horse classes at Derby. Winning Newcomer Champs and would you believe they only recently took up showing!

Thank you to the team for the polishing and prep, it really does take a village!

STABLING AVAILABLE! Le Godimo Horse Trials has a few stables available

Boasting 152 ha of land, we have secure facilities for the equine athlete. Whether you are looking for excellent training facilities for equine athletes at all levels and disciplines, or ample space to hack out and enjoy long outrides on property with a variety of roaming game.
The property is a safe and secure area for riders with a full size (20x60) dressage arena, show jumping arena and eventing facilities available to the riders at no additional charge.
Each stable is fitted with a fan to regulate air flow and to keep horses happy in all seasons. During AHS months, shade cloth curtains surround the stables to combat horse sickness.
Located in Skeerpoort, in the Magalies Valley, you are sure to enjoy this peaceful and scenic yard.
