Another successful snare removal operation.
This Blesbok ram was spotted with a loose snare around his neck. Aarvark Vet & .vanwyk.16 went out on 3 different occations to imobalise the ram. They had no luck finding him on the first two attempts, and on the third time they were succesful.
There were no injuries or wounds caused by the snare.
The snare was easily removed and the Blesbok was released back into the game reserve.

Thank you for their work in treating this zebra. He is said to make a good recovery.
The bush is very thick this time of year so it’s very difficult to spot animals with snares on- never mind trying to treat them.
