But you also relax to rest your body giving it time to recover eat a lot of fruits drink water milk don't use anything to get muscles quicker take the long way for your own safety

Do warm ups before exercising
because you might hurt yourself causing extensive injuries like muscle pain or strain body pains
and do cool downs after you have exercised so your body can cool down properly and healthy way

Also drink water
Eat fruits or vegetables
Protein
Rest a lot
