Today the thought of dots connecting hit home, because l thought of all the work that l have done through Image Proclaimed a God given idea birthed in highschool and officially launched in 2012, every single child and women l have touched through my work, working with street kids (most who have run away from home because they felt unsafe) and giving them hope, and now to being and having the ability to use a platform such as Mrs Universe wherein women from 110 corners of the world and more will be gathered to advocate against domestic violence and gender based violence, the effects of it on our communities and how to find ways to rid this social ill is definitely coming full cycle for me, that is why one of my main hashtags is ( the opportune moment). l certainly must add because what are we without the hope that the works and seeds we plant today for a better future will certainly bring us to that expected place! I am a product of hope that has not failed, l have pushed through boundaries, broken down mountains and seen a better future for myself and others in different aspects of life! I do not doubt the power of the voice from within that has placed me in platforms l never imagined l could be on. So today l say, let hope spring forth, and let that voice within arise and speak out that which will birth a better and brighter future for you and all the people connected to you in this lifetime!
