Over the next few days, we'll be transforming this blade blank into a finished hunting knife, built by hand right here in South Africa.

Every handmade knife has a beginning.

What started as a design on a screen is now becoming a real blade in the workshop.

This build is currently in progress and still has a long journey ahead:
✔ Blade profiling
✔ Handle fitting
✔ Grinding and finishing
✔ Heat treatment
✔ Final sharpening

There's something special about turning a piece of raw steel into a tool that could spend years in the veld, around a campfire, or on a hunting trip.

This is one of the first Oryx Blades builds and we're excited to share the process with you from start to finish.
