Over the years, I've learned that wisdom isn't about never making mistakes, it's about having the courage to acknowledge them.

Confidence isn't always knowing the answer, it's trusting yourself enough to keep going when you don't.

And wellbeing isn't about having everything together, it's about returning to yourself, again and again, with kindness.

The people who help others still struggle.

The people who teach growth are still growing.

The people who encourage healing are healing too.

None of us are finished products. We're all learning, unlearning, stumbling, repairing, and trying again.

And maybe that's not a flaw of being human.

Maybe that's the beauty of it. ❤️

So much of motherhood today is spent overstimulated, overwhelmed, disconnected from ourselves, and quietly feeling like we’re failing if we can’t “do it all.”

But healing, regulation, confidence, and connection are built differently.
Slowly. Gently. Repeatedly.

Sometimes the best thing for a new mom isn’t more productivity.
It’s sunlight. Rest. Support. Presence. Nourishment. Safe people.

Not perfect motherhood.
Nourished motherhood. 🤍

Which one would you add to the “best dopamine” list?

Children’s behaviour can be challenging and sometimes exhausting.

But often, behaviour isn’t a personal attack.

It’s communication.

Behind the yelling may be overwhelm.
Behind the hitting may be frustration.
Behind the refusal may be a need for connection, autonomy, or support.

Understanding the reason behind a behaviour doesn’t mean accepting it.

It means responding to what’s underneath it.

Because when we become curious about the message, we’re better able to guide the behaviour.

Which slide resonated with you most?

Postpartum doesn’t always look the way people expect it to.

Sometimes it looks like:
“I’m fine.”
“I’m just tired.”
“I’ve got it.”

But underneath that can be overwhelm, loneliness, anxiety, exhaustion, identity loss, and a nervous system running on empty.

Support doesn’t have to be perfect to matter.
Checking in matters.
Listening matters.
Taking over for an hour matters.
Kindness matters.

If someone you love is navigating postpartum, remind them they don’t have to carry it all alone 🤍

Save this for someone who may need the reminder.

The hopes I carry as a counsellor and coach - that people leave feeling a little less broken, a little more understood, and a little softer with themselves.

I’m Lauren.
Postpartum coach, wellness counsellor, former publishing girl turned people person for life.

Long before I held space professionally, I was always drawn to stories. The honest ones. The messy ones. The ones people are usually too afraid to say out loud.

Now?
I get to sit with women in those moments every day.

The becoming.
The burnout.
The identity shifts.
The motherhood.
The “surely I’m not the only one?” thoughts.

I’m a mom to twin boys who turn 12 this year, and a little girl who just turned 9. I’m happily married… mostly 😉 (if only he'd just realise that taking over the 'what's for dinner?' stress would earn him brownie points for life!) I digress, but yes, I'm navigating this beautiful, chaotic life right alongside you.

This space isn’t about perfection.
It’s about feeling safe enough to exhale.

Safe enough to laugh at yourself.
Safe enough to say the thing.
Safe enough to grow.

So whether you’re here for the deep chats, the nervous system work, the honest motherhood moments or just to feel a little less alone...I’m really glad you’re here 🤍

This is your reminder today:
you were never meant to do everything perfectly.

Your kids do not need a perfect mother.
They need a regulated, supported, human one. 🤍

Sometimes “good enough” parenting is actually beautiful parenting.
