“I’m incredibly grateful and humbled to have been selected to represent South Africa at the Hockey World Cup. Playing at the Indoor World Cup in 2025 was already something truly special, and if you’d told me then that I’d be competing at the Hockey World Cup in Belgium, I probably would have laughed. I still remember sitting at home watching the last World Cup, hoping I’d one day get the chance to see some of my hockey heroes in person, and now I get to share the field with them. It’s an incredible blessing, and I’m truly grateful for this opportunity.” 🇿🇦
