Veterans Cricket South Africa is proud to announce the official Proteas Veterans Over-60s squad selected to represent South Africa at the IMC Over-60s Cricket World Cup, scheduled to take place from 09 – 23 August 2026 in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada.🇨🇦🏆
The squad will be led by newly appointed captain Trevor Poole, whose experience, leadership and calm presence will anchor South Africa’s campaign on the world stage. ⭐🏏🇿🇦

Congratulations to KPT Chairman Carl Mellors on his selection as Vice-Captain of the SA Kudus that will participate in the O60s Cape Town International Cricket Tournament next month.
The Kudus will play against international teams from the USA, Wales and Zimbabwe, as well as the SA Impalas.
At last night's kit handing out ceremony at Wingate Park Country Club, Carl received his from South Africa and Netherlands international Roelof Van Der Merwe. Roelof's father, Roelf, will also be playing for the Kudus.

The Kent Park Taverners are based at the iconic DP World Wanderers stadium in Johannesburg, the "Bullring". It has its own Long Room and bar - the "Tavern".
In a new venture, the Taverners have formed a team made up of its members, with a view to playing against incoming touring teams.
The first tourists to test the Taverners' hospitality were The Wanderers Cricket Club of Canada, an established touring team.
Two games were played at Irene Country Club and the Wanderers Club.
The first game ended in a draw after rained intervened. In the second, the Taverners recorded their first win, chasing down 218 with 4 wickets to spare.
Thanks to Hamilton’s and Mica Hardware for sponsoring the Taverners' playing kit.
Many new friendships were formed during the course of the two days, proving that the spirirt of cricket is very much alive!
Good luck to the The Wanderers Cricket Club of Canada for the rest of their tour in the Kruger National Park and Cape Town.
