I’m honoured to be serving as a Judge for the 2026 PRISMS Awards by the Public Relations Institute of Southern Africa (PRISA).

Having spent years working in and advocating for the professionalisation of our industry, this is a responsibility I’m genuinely proud to take on. Judging the work of fellow practitioners is not only about recognising excellence, it is also about reflecting on where our profession is, how far we have come, and the kind of future we are collectively shaping.

The theme for this year’s PRISMS Awards, “Kaleidoscope: Patterns of Impact Across Past, Present & Future,” could not be more fitting. Our industry continues to evolve, but at its core, great PR remains about people, purpose, influence and the ability to create meaningful impact through communication.

I’m looking forward to engaging with the exceptional work submitted, learning from the ideas and campaigns shaping our industry, and playing my small part in celebrating excellence in South African PR.
