Purpose
The purpose of the SMSA Development Programme is to outline minimum quality standards for institutional processes and functions in a manner that:
Promotes the National Qualifications Framework (NQF) objectives;
Meets the South African Qualifications Authority (SAQA);
Enhances the quality of employment provision and improve public service delivery so that it impacts positively on the communities it intends to serve;
Ensures the monitoring and evaluation of Information, Access to the facility, Training and Development practices;
Scope
The SMSA Development Programme informs the quality goals and activities of the company in the following broad areas:
Strategic level: the organisational strategy and statements regarding Training and Development practices. Operational level: implementation of quality framework
Administrative level: documentation, tools and procedures for implementation. Approach
