Shiptech Greenkeeper’s Revenge at FCC ⛳️😈

What a lekker Friday at beautiful FCC! Our Shiptech Greenkeeper’s Revenge was very well supported by members and visitors — and judging by some of those pin positions, the team certainly understood the assignment! 😂⛳️

⛳ GREENKEEPER’S REVENGE – TOMORROW AT FCC! 😈

The course has had its Spring treatment… and now the greenkeepers are getting their revenge! 😂

Join us tomorrow, Friday 11 September, for a fun (and possibly frustrating!) afternoon of golf, proudly sponsored by ShipTech.

🏌️ Tee-off: From 2pm
⛳ Format: Multiplier – teams of 2
💰 Normal fees apply

How Multiplier works: Both players play their own ball and score Stableford points on each hole. Your two scores are then multiplied together for the team score.

👉 3 points × 2 points = 6 points
😬 But beware… if either player scores 0, the team gets 0 for that hole!

Add your scores across all 9 holes and the highest team total wins.

Divots. Bumpy lies. Thick rough. Challenging greens. Embrace the rough! 🌱😂

A big thank you to James, Alan and everyone involved in getting our scheduled spring treatment done on the course. 👏🌱

There is a lot of work that goes on behind the scenes to keep our course healthy and in great condition, and we really appreciate the time, effort and hard work that goes into it.

The treatment may make things look a little different for a short while, but it’s all part of preparing for healthier greens and better playing conditions ahead. ⛳️🌿

OLA September Monthly Mug at FCC ⛳️🏆

It was a very wet Monthly Mug Sunday at beautiful FCC today! 🌧️⛳️ A big thank you to everyone who still came out and supported the day despite the conditions.

The course will be closed for our annual Spring treatment. Thanks for your patience while our greens team works their magic for healthier greens and better golf!

Yesterday’s Mahindra Rise Challenge at beautiful FCC came with a bit of everything weather-wise — sun, wind, drizzle and rain. 🌦️😄

Most Golf in the Gold Division went to Warren Graff on 11 points, while Dave McIlrath took the Silver Division honours on 13 points. Shooters duly earned! 🍷😂
