🇿🇦 Today we commemorate Youth Day, honouring the courage, resilience, and sacrifice of the young people who stood up against inequality and the apartheid education system 50 years ago.

📚 What began as a peaceful student protest in Soweto against the enforced use of Afrikaans as a medium of instruction became a defining moment in our history.

The events of 16 June highlighted the power of youth voices in the fight for freedom, dignity, and equal education.

Today, Youth Day doesn't only remembers the lives lost and affected during the uprising, but also celebrates the important role young people continue to play in shaping our future.

Young Tigers SC is proud to continue partnering with young people through cooperation in sports, education, skills development, culture, innovation, and exchange. 🤝
