Today, we honour the life and legacy of a true spinning legend — **Eric Maswaya**, known to many across South Africa as *the M20 King*.

Eric wasn’t just a name in the game — he was a force. A builder of beasts. A spinner of heart. A brother in the pit lanes. The M20 strokers he built weren’t just engines — they were war cries, echoing across townships, tracks, and tar. His knowledge, passion, and commitment to the craft raised the bar for us all.

But beyond the motors and the madness, Eric was family to the community. He gave advice freely. He supported the youth. He built not just engines — but people, moments, and memories.

To lose someone like Eric is to lose a part of spinning’s soul. But legends don’t die — **they drift into legacy**, and his is one that will never fade.

To the Maswaya family, friends, fellow spinners, and every fan who felt the thunder of an M20 built by his hands — we stand with you in sorrow, and in pride.
