We are shattered by this news and send our deepest sympathy and love to our beloved friends and family at this time.

We are saddened to have received the news of the passing of Carrol Klose. Her tireless dedication and contributions to junior softball and her dedication to fostering a love for the game in players of all ages in the Northern Zone and at her club Tornados is well known.
As we mourn the loss of Carrol we also celebrate the rich legacy she leaves behind. Her spirit will continue to inspire us.
Our thoughts and deepest condolences go out to her family and friends and the Tornados Softball Club during this difficult time.

Here’s to the coaches who walk onto the field with an open heart… the ones who aren’t just searching for athletes who are already perfect, but who are willing to give a chance to the girls who are still rough around the edges - the ones who may lack skill now, but whose eyes light up every time they pick up a glove, a bat, or simply sprint across the dusty infield.
Here’s to those who understand that talent is easy to spot, but potential takes patience, attention, and genuine belief. The coaches who don’t build their teams only with the brightest stars, but with the girls who want to learn, who want to work, and who want to become better every single day.
Here’s to the coaches who know that attitude, grit, spirit, and determination can sometimes matter even more than a long hit or a perfect throw. Those who see the soul behind every jersey, recognizing that choosing a child - believing in them - can change the way they see themselves, not just in the game but in their life.
Here’s to those coaches - the ones who truly make a difference. Not because they gather the most talented players, but because they help ordinary girls become exceptional in their own way.
