HUGE CONGRATULATIONS to Alexandra and Camilla who have just won the Burlington Cup 1m10 championship! What a team with so much potential. Watch out folks .... This is a team to watch! :)

What a great morning! Took a lovely family of four out on a lead rein hack down and around Patrick's place and back. The parents had put in leave to spend time with their two daughters, one eight and the other one a tender three and having been here before when I was doing the Groupon thing, were quite insistent on coming back here to do the horsey thing so we made a plan. Their eight-year-old apparently has not stopped talking about coming here and neither child wanted to leave today! Horses behaved beautifully! Shout out to Lawrence, Ward and Pius for the leading and I was the extra hands with Alexandra on standby, ba****ck on her new horse. Another shout out to Patrick Kaye for being so kind as to let us wander around his peaceful property!

Huge well done! Ulika and Camilla both tickets at Burlington this weekend. Sadly Doc and Phuza only one fence down each. Alex's riding just gets better and better. Well done to the five of you!

Huge congratulations to our visitors from the Blouberg Stud in Limpopo! Chris van der Merwe and his stunning stallion Capital Castigo have just won the prestigious Burlington Cup in one of the most superb jump-offs I can remember. Beautiful horse, beautifully ridden!

So, so, so proud. My amazing god daughter, Francesca Sanne pretty much swept the board with firsts at the Gauteng Dressage Championships 2016. Francesca, you get more beautiful every time I see you. Our newest visiting family from Natal, Catherine Berning, had an incredible show with firsts, seconds and an unfortunate third today when she should have won the EM finals. Little but very costly mistake. Also so proud of Francesca's mother, Ingeborg Sanne who is going to Rio soon as an Olympic committee member. Had my day complete when a top-level competitor and instructor, Georgina Roberts, said that she had a poll with her children about who are their two favourite dressage judges and I was one of them! How awesome is that? Thrilled!

Riding lessons now on offer! Very skilled instruction. Beginners welcome!

So proud of the AGW-Chevalier team today -- again. A first and a second in the 90cm. Silly mistakes in the 1m. Well done to Ward and Alex. You did us all proud. Ulike and Kamillla you are SUPERSTARS!

Feeling so so alone as I refuse to be blugeoned by these new "creative" data consuming apps

So proud of the AGW-Chevalier team yesterday at Sunlands. Chevalier Ulike and Ward 3rd in the 90cm and Kamilla and Alex 2nd in the 80cm! Little Todd had a day out with the 50cm (which he stepped over and just an unfortunate navigational issue) and Tenka and Canterbury both super rounds. Well done!

A career first for me! I judged the most lovely elegant mule today! So much potential. I truly hope to see more of this team.

Well done to Morgan, who has been selected for the junior Gauteng eventing team and is ranked second! Super performance from Morgan, Georgia and support team Ward and mom Jenny!
