We would like to start by thanking God Almighty for making this day possible, allowing our team the opportunity to showcase their talent and for His protection over every player, with no serious injuries sustained.

Although we won 3 of our 4 pool games, it wasn’t enough to progress to the next round of the 7s competition. We are extremely proud of the effort, commitment, and heart shown by every player in tough conditions.

A massive thank you to all our supporters who came out in the heat and stood by the Blitz — your support means everything to us. We gave it our all and we will come back stronger. 💙⚡

In our last pool game we went down 12 –7 against a much more physical Kraaifontein Rebels side. A tough contest, but a valuable lesson for the boys.
