Eersterivier & Lower Stellenboschberg
Saturday, 12 September 2026

Join us for a beautiful day hike along the Eersterivier and up the lower slopes of Stellenboschberg! We start from the parking area, walking along the river past a variety of labeled indigenous trees. From the suspension bridge, the trail winds up toward the Old Ruin (Ou Murasie) and continues west toward Welgevallendam before returning to the start.

We’re heading to the iconic Cederberg for a 4-night off-the-grid retreat at Biedouw Vallei Wegbreek (23–27 Sept).

Spend your days exploring scenic trails like Heuningvlei and the local Canyon, chasing waterfalls, and your evenings soaking in a wood-fired hot tub under starry skies.

Spots are strictly capped at 22 people to keep it cozy, so get in quick!

Looking for a challenge? We're heading up Forts Nek! Note: This is not an easy hike—there is quite an incline to the top. However, less fit hikers are welcome to join and turn around at one of the streams. 🏞️
