Behind every great tournament, there are people who make sure our players are safe. 🙏

To our medics - 10/10! You were fast, professional and full of care. You attended to every player, every knock.

We had 2 very scary moments where players needed urgent medical attention, moments that needed real first aid knowledge - and you ladies stepped in and saved the day! We are so grateful for you. 🏃‍♀️💙

And a big flower to Ma Conny Matjipa and Conny Matjipa Foundation - thank you for ALWAYS making sure there is first aid at your tournaments. That's true leadership and love for our players. Not all tournaments do it, but you always do. 👏

I’ve shot a lot of ladies football, but this young lady impressed EVERYONE today at the Conny Matjipa Women’s Top 16 - Phalaborwa Stream, including me behind the lens. 📸

Skill, pace, confidence - she had the whole ground watching.

And then this happened... a fan walked up and asked for a picture WITH HER. First time I’m seeing this in ladies soccer, and it gave me chills. This is what it looks like when talent demands respect.
