2026 PEA Winter Gala Update 🏊‍♀️💙

It is with great disappointment that we have to announce the cancellation of our 2026 PEA Winter Gala.

Due to the ongoing renovations at Newton Park Swimming Pool, the pool is unfortunately not expected to reopen until closer to the end of the year. As much as we were looking forward to welcoming everyone back to the pool, these circumstances are unfortunately beyond our control.

While we are sad that our 2026 gala won’t be going ahead, we are already looking ahead with excitement! 💙

Our Coaches were fortunate enough to attend the three day Intermediate Coaching Clinic presented by Eugene da Ponte, hosted by Swimming South Africa on behalf of Africa Aquatics.

This program focused on high standards of coach education, stroke mechanics and professional development of coaches.

Happy Women’s Day to all our amazing PEA swimming moms! 💐🏊‍♀️

Behind every early morning practice, every gala, every PB, and every medal is a mom making it all possible. Thank you for the lifts, the packed swim bags, the endless encouragement, the loud cheers from the stands, and the unconditional love you give so freely.

Swimming is a team effort, and our moms are truly the heart of our swimming family. Your dedication, strength, patience, and support help our swimmers grow not only as athletes but as people.
