PRESS STATEMENT: FRIENDLY CITY FC PRESIDENT AHEAD OF SEASON FINALE

As we approach the final league game of the season for our Senior Team, I want to reflect on our journey.

We started the season strongly, and like every club, we faced challenges midseason that made things a bit shaky. As the season concludes, we fell short of some targets. But as a club, our biggest win and proudest achievement this season has been the promotion of our Under-18 players.

We’ve had numerous games where the majority of the squad and starting lineup featured our U18 players. We’ve also seen many debuts for our young talent. For us, that’s a massive win and the foundation for Friendly City FC’s future.

We have also been dealing with major internal issues as a club which I cannot disclose to the public at this stage. We are currently working on solutions as a team to address these challenges. We hope to come back next season stronger and improved from these situations.

Lastly, I want to appreciate how our club has grown in the media this season. Thank you to our supporters — your belief carries us. Let’s end this season on a good note.
