She faces Rosie Eccles of Wales in the Quarter-Finals (Bout #123), proudly representing Team South Africa on one of the biggest stages in world sport.

Thandolwethu Mathiba's Commonwealth Games journey comes to an end after a points defeat in the Women's 51kg Round of 16.
Her opponent proved to be the stronger and better-prepared boxer on the day, but Mathiba showed courage, determination, and resilience throughout the contest.

The spotlight turns to Thandolwethu Truelove Mathiba as she becomes the first South African woman boxer to compete at the Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games.
An eight-time South African champion, Mathiba begins her campaign in the Women's 51kg Round of 16, where she will face Ruby White of England on 27 July 2026.
She carries the hopes of Team South Africa and the nation into the ring as she aims to make history and advance to the medal rounds.

Masibulele Sigwela's Commonwealth Games journey ends in the Round of 16 after a points decision in the Men's 55kg division.
While the result was not in South Africa's favour, Masibulele displayed courage and determination on the international stage. He has a bright future ahead and has the potential to qualify for the 2028 Los Angeles Olympic Games.
