This is about sustainability, not rules. 🤍
If naps suddenly fall apart, it doesn’t mean you’ve “done something wrong.”
Sleep regressions happen because sleep is developmental — your baby’s brain, body and awareness are constantly changing.
Sometimes that looks like:
✨ short naps
✨ fighting sleep
✨ more waking
✨ needing extra support again
The goal isn’t perfect sleep every day.
The goal is helping your baby adapt while keeping sleep habits sustainable for your family.
You don’t need stricter rules. You need realistic expectations and the right support through each phase.
Our Ultimate Guide to Sleep Regressions break down exactly what sleep regressions are, why they happen and how to deal with it — so regressions feel less scary and more manageable 🤍

Every baby develops differently… so regressions do too. ✨
⏰Sleep regressions don’t follow an exact calendar. While we often hear about the “4 month” or “8 month” regressions, some babies experience them earlier, later, or barely at all.
That’s because regressions are usually linked to development — not age alone. Things like rolling, crawling, growth spurts, teething, separation anxiety, or changing sleep needs can all affect sleep.
Signs may include:
Short naps
More night wakings
Fighting sleep
Early mornings
Needing extra comfort
The good news? Regressions are temporary and often a sign your baby is learning and growing rapidly. 🤍

Happy Mother’s Day 🩷🩷🩷
This is what month one of motherhood actually looks like. Bathrobe on. Brain off. Tampon in the mug.
Nobody warned us about the level of tired where you start making your uterus a cup of tea. ☕
Carla, we love you and we’re deeply concerned. 😂
If your newborn has you operating at 12% battery, we made something for you. Our Newborn Course was built specifically for the sleep-deprived, slightly unhinged, incredibly brave mamas in the thick of it.

Not all naps are meant to be long.
If you have been stressing over those 30-45minutes naps...this is for you👇
Short naps don't always mean something is wrong. In early months, babies are not wired to link sleep cycles yet - which is why they wake often after one cycle.
So when do babies start linking sleep cycles?
👉Typically around 4-6 months ( sometimes later), with the right support.
Until then, your focus should be:
✨ Age-appropriate awake windows
✨ Enough daytime sleep opportunities
✨ Consistent (but flexible) routines
Because here's the truth:
Day sleep = night sleep.
Overtired babies don't magically sleep better - they usually wake more🫣
If you are stuck in short naps, constant wake-ups and second guessing everything...you don't have to figure it out alone
💛 Our 1:1 support packages walks you through exactly what your baby needs at each stage - including naps, awake windows and how to support longer stretches of sleep

Contact naps aren’t the problem, they’re just one way your baby knows how to sleep. 🤍
But if it’s the only way, naps can become hard to sustain.
Babies who always sleep on you often haven’t yet learned how to fall asleep and stay asleep independently.
The goal isn’t to remove comfort,
it’s to add new skills alongside it.
Start small:
• Try 1 nap a day in the cot
• Support → then gradually reduce help
• Get the timing right
You don’t have to drop contact naps completely,
just create balance.

Is feeding to sleep a bad habit?
Let’s reframe this 🤍
Feeding to sleep is normal, especially in the newborn months. It’s how babies regulate, feel safe, and fall asleep with connection.
If it’s working for you, there’s nothing to fix.
It only becomes something to change when:
• your baby can’t resettle without feeding
• night wakes increase
• feeding is the only way to sleep
• or it no longer feels sustainable for you
And even then, the answer isn’t removing comfort abruptly.
Real change lasts when we understand your baby’s age and temperament, and support them before asking them to do something new.
That’s connection before correction 🤍

Pressure does.
