Pam Golding Jacaranda Ladies Golf Classic 🌸

Following the success of the inaugural tournament in 2025, there was great excitement surrounding this year’s event.

Played across three of Pretoria’s premier courses - Woodhill, Silver Lakes and Pretoria Country Club - it once again delivered three fantastic days of golf 🏌🏼‍♀️

A big thank you to the Ladies Committee for all their hard work, and to Pam Golding for their incredible sponsorship and support.

PCC Snooker launched a brand-new event in April, the PCC Handicaps.

Handicaps, typically found in golf, are one of the great equalizers in sport - it’s where experience meets ambition.

This new format gave the less experienced snooker players a built-in points head-start against the more seasoned players; making every match competitive, unpredictable, and fun - and judging from the number of Pink/Black ball deciders, it worked well.

The idea was that everyone had to believe that they had a genuine chance 🏆 🏆

Congratulations once again to Maréna Jaekel (Main Draw) and Christo van Biljon (Plate Draw) who are our 2026 PCC Handicaps Champions 👏🏻

Great way to kick off the Canadian Social Squash Tour of SA 🇨🇦🇿🇦

PCC Squash had the pleasure of hosting our Canadian guests for a morning of competitive matches, great energy, and plenty of laughs. From solid rallies on court to a relaxed braai afterwards, it was everything club squash should be 🙌

Big thanks to everyone who stepped up to play and represent PCC - you brought the energy and showcased the spirit of our Club.

Safe travels to our Canadian friends as the tour continues - we hope this was a memorable first stop.

What a day! 114 ladies joined us for our Ladies Golf Open, bringing the Summer Vibes theme to life both on and off the course.

From a great day of golf to a vibrant prize-giving lunch, the atmosphere carried through with beautiful, theme-inspired décor and plenty of energy all around.

This past weekend, Pretoria Country Club hosted RIF for a Mixed League Showdown - and what a day it turned out to be!

Players were welcomed with a glass of bubbly, the music set the tone, and the courts were full of great energy as the two clubs put their rivalry to the test 👀

After a fantastic day of tennis and great sprit, Pretoria Country Club claimed the trophy 🏆 Thank you to RIF for joining in on the fun and bringing the competition.

PCC CLUB CHAMPIONSHIP 2026 🏆

This past weekend saw our A Division members competing for the prestigious Club Champion title at Pretoria Country Club.

A field of 92 players took part in the 36-hole medal competition, showcasing two days of competitive golf, camaraderie and PCC tradition.

After two strong rounds, Louis Moolman delivered an excellent performance to claim the 2026 Club Championship title with a gross score of 143. Congratulations Louis! 🏆 Further congratulations to Marais Vorster, who finished as runner-up.

In the Senior Division, congratulations to Dean Lambert, who secured the title, with Dave Christie finishing as runner-up.

What an excellent weekend of golf at PCC. Thank you to all the participants and to everyone who contributed to another memorable Club Championship.

This past weekend, Pretoria Country Club hosted the NJSA Open, with 9 of our Junior Squash Members stepping up to compete.

Congratulations to all our Junior Members who participated and showcased great skill and sportsmanship on the courts 👏🏼

Our ladies celebrated Valentine’s Day on Tuesday with a wonderful day on the course, dressed in shades of red and pink, followed by a delicious lunch in the Pavilion ❤️

To top off a lovely day, our Ladies Captain, Letitia Greyling, scored a hole-in-one on the 16th hole, which followed by plenty of bubbles to celebrate 🥂
