It's been a whirlwind few days in preparation for this match and competing with my new Canik, Rival-S pistols (we leave for Hungary this evening).
Will be travelling with my friends & fellow Canik/Bosrus team mates, Brendon Wecke and Hilfred Siebrits, which should be good fun. Will keep you all posted in the coming days as we prep for the Pre-Match (taking place from 2nd - 6th June).
My sincere thanks to my sponsors who have made this possible:

Here are a few videos from the PPPSC fund-raising club shoot on Saturday (23/05). It was a wonderful, varied and fun-filled match which tested and challenged a variety of the shooters' skills.
Thanks to the good folk from PPPSC for setting up the match and for their wonderful hospitality.
Am pleased to report that the licences for my new Canik, Rival-S pistols have now been approved, so I was running my new competition pistol at this match (this was only my second club shoot using it). Despite this, I managed to take the overall win by only 0.10% ahead of my shooting mate, Brendon, who was competing in the Optics Division. Thanks for the support and encouragement and good shooting, bud!!

Here are a few videos from Day 1 of the SA Handgun Nationals which took place up in Polokwane over the weekend. The stages seemed fairly simple but were cleverly designed and tested each shooter’s stage planning and ex*****on abilities to the maximum.

Here are a few stages from the NGPSA HG & PCC provincial league #4, shot on Sunday (19/04).
This was a lovely, challenging match which tested different aspects of shooters’ skills and abilities.
Although there is still some work and refinement to be done, I managed to achieve a fairly respectable result, a few 2nd, 3rd and 4th places on stages (plus managed to win the gold medal for the PO Senior category too).
My thanks, as usual to the match organisers, MD, RM and RO’s who set up and worked the match. Thanks also to my range buddies in Squad 22 for helping to make it a good day out!
It’s not too long now until the HG Nationals and the EHC 2026, but I’m really excited by the challenge and by what lies ahead for me in this division.

Following on from my previous post, here are a few stages from Sunday's NGPSA HG & PCC provincial league #3 (I competed in the Production Optics division on the day).
This certainly wasn’t my best match because I made a few mistakes (by not applying caution and the brakes at the appropriate places). That said, I still managed a fairly respectable result, a stage win (Stage 3) and a few 2nd, 3rd and 4th places on stages (plus managed to win the gold medal for the PO Senior category too).
My thanks, as always to the match organisers, MD, RM and RO’s who set up and worked the match. Thanks also to my range buddies in Squad 26 for a great day out!
There’s still work and refinement to do with my performance in this match, but I’m really excited by the challenge and by what lies ahead for me in this division.
