From Witpoort and Bronkhorstspruit, the route winds deep into Loskop — fast district roads, softer sandy jeep track, and long corrugated gravel that rewards calm decision-making over brute force.

This is a race of terrain management.

Then comes the defining moment.
The Langkloof sector between water point 3 and 4 — big climbs in the heat of the day, deep into the race. This is where patience is tested, legs are exposed, and the race truly takes shape.
