Tuks Cricket and the Pretoria Capitals hosted Dalen Mmako Foundation teams for this year’s final cricket clinic. Thank you to our partners for a big effort for the little stars.

We're proud of our CEO, who recently joined Team LearnMe in the 2025 CEO Cycle Challenge to support the South African Hall of Fame Trust's Legacy Project.

This incredible initiative raised over R1.2 million, which means 33 young athletes now have the chance to follow their dreams and get the support they need.

The Trust says it best, “This project doesn’t just identify talented children – it fully invests in their future.” Thank you, LearnMe, for making DMF part of this meaningful ride. Together, we’re powering potential and creating lasting opportunities for young leaders.

This Saturday, we’re teaming up with TuksCricket for a clinic for our cricketers. We’ll be sharing skills, inspiring dreams, and giving back through sport. 🏏

We’ve come a long way from having just 1 team in 2024, to 3 in 2025! Our programme now benefits 36 young athletes, including our first girls team.

Sport is for everyone. And this is just the beginning.

You see the man in the photo? That’s Dalen Mmako. A sports enthusiast, an accomplished athlete and this foundation’s namesake. The Dalen Mmako Foundation develops future sports stars, providing young athletes with access to quality coaching, mentorship and access to professional competition.

Just last week, we wrapped up our participation in the TUKSJunior Winter Cricket League — fielding three teams: U9 and U11 boys, and our first-ever U9 girls team. For us, participating was about more than just cricket — it was about providing access and exposure, and building confidence.

To help fund their participation, Dalen dedicated his 2025 Comrades Marathon run to this cause. His challenge? 89for89 — a call for supporters to donate R89, one rand for every kilometre he’ll run this Sunday, 8 June.

As we can see, Dalen has arrived, collected his race number and his spirit is high.
