🏆 CPL U12 PLATE CHAMPIONS! 🏑

Congratulations to Nicholas Kotze and Ethan Mills, who represented Bishops as part of The Rebels franchise, who have been crowned CPL U12 Plate Champions.

Over the course of the competition, the team finished unbeaten, with 4 wins and 1 draw from 5 matches. The boys represented their school throughout the tournament with pride - playing with skill, determination, and excellent sportsmanship.

Congratulations to James Edwards and Leo Faro, who represented Bishops at CPL this past weekend and helped their team claim gold as U14 Cup Champions!

Fantastic to see the boys getting the W and enjoying a brilliant tournament along the way. They represented Bishops with pride and can be incredibly proud of what they achieved.

🥈 TOP SCHOOLS SILVER!

A fantastic weekend for our Bishops U13A boys, who battled their way through to the Top Schools final and came away with a well-deserved silver medal.

Reaching a final at this level is a huge achievement, but for Bishops to do it for four years in a row is something really special.

4 years. 4 finals. 💙

An incredible record and a testament to the players, teachers, coaches and everyone involved in Bishops hockey.

We're incredibly proud of the boys and the way they represented Bishops throughout the tournament.

They've powered their way into the Top Schools Final and now face Rondebosch tomorrow at 12h40 in a BishBosch clash of epic proportions.

A massive achievement already, but there's still one more job to do. Let's get behind the boys as they take on one of the biggest fixtures around.

🏆 DAY/NIGHT TOURNAMENT CHAMPIONS! 🏆

What a night for the Bishops U12s! 💙

Under the lights, surrounded by some fantastic schools and an incredible atmosphere, the boys battled their way to the Day/Night Tournament trophy, finishing it off with a tense 1–0 victory in the final!

A special touch to the evening was having Kenton Melville, fresh from the World Cup, presenting the medals and trophy to the boys. 🏑🏅

But this one meant a little more. The team proudly wore their Cassa bands throughout the tournament and dedicated their victory to him. 💙

And there’s something particularly special about history repeating itself - Cassa’s team lifted this very same trophy last year. This year’s U12s made sure it stayed with Bishops. 🏆

A wonderful tournament, brilliant hockey and a night these boys won’t forget.

Calling all U12 hockey boys of 2026 - come and experience an afternoon of Bishops Hockey at the Woodlands! 💙

Join the Bishops Hockey coaches and 1st XI for a masterclass hockey session, enjoy a boerie roll afterwards, and then stick around to watch the Bishops 1st XI take on the Bishops Old Boys.
