Zachary Lee Combrink – Black Belt Karateka with Jnr. Protea Colours.
Hi Everyone,
My name is Zachary Lee Combrink. I am a passionate 14-year-old martial artist who has been dedicated to karate since the age of 7. After years of hard work, discipline, and perseverance, I earned my black belt at just 12 years old—a milestone that reflects my deep commitment to the art. Known for my focus, determination, and love for every aspect of training, I don't just practice karate—I live and breathe it. Whether I am perfecting my kata, sparring with fellow students, or mentoring younger karateka, I bring energy and respect to the dojo every single time. My journey is just beginning, and I continue to train with the same passion that first brought him to the mat.
Through hard work, dedication, support from my family and mentorship from Shihan - Cindy-Lee Whiteman, Sensei - Monique Ludick and Sensei - Michael Whiteman, I have been chosen to represent South Africa at the ICO WORLD KARATE CHAMPIONSHIPS in Wales!!
This page is dedicated to help me get to Wales and document my journey. It is an honour and privilege to share each step of the journey with all of you. Your support means the absolute world to me.
