Superb effort to Matokan's inaugural two combatants, Carlisle and Diviyan, who competed in the Joburg Judo Champion of Champions! We are immensely proud of you. It demands bravery to confront your opponent for the first time... Congratulations, gentlemen! You are the trailblazers of Matokan, and today marked your inception.

First day back after the holidays, excitement filled the air at Matokan!
Today we learnt Tachi-waza, Ne-waza and the importance of breaking your opponent’s balance and pulling. So happy to be back, CAN’T wait to see what this term might bring! 💪🥋

Matokan Judo a place where discipline, strength and self-worth is taught.
Sensei Matt is building these future judo champs with the basics, eager to see them flourish.
We incorporate discipline, skill and fun. This term has been one to remember at Skye College.💪🥋
