Tough one for the boys out at St Helena Bay — final score 43-7

Vandag was nie ons dag nie. Our boys travelled to St Helena Baai for a tough Groot Uitdaag clash and came away on the wrong end of a 43-7 scoreline.

St Helena Baai RFC put in a strong shift and made it hard for the boys from start to finish. It wasn't the result we wanted, but that's rugby — sometimes we are on the front foot, sometimes we're not.

What matters now is how we respond. Back to training, back to the basics, and back at it next week. Dankie aan almal wat saam met ons gereis het vandag — your support on the side-line doesn't go unnoticed, win or lose.

Off the back of that three-in-a-row form, our boys hit the road again — this time it's away against St Helena Baai RFC, Saturday 22 August 2026, kickoff 13h30.

Fresh off a nail-biting win at Langebaan, the momentum is real and we want the Tiere-fam right there with us. If you can make the trip, come support the boys — every voice on that sideline matters.

THREE IN A ROW! 🐯🔥

Our 1st team went into Langebaan's backyard and walked out with a nail-biter — 25-24. One point. That's all it took to make it three consecutive wins for the boys. Tiere-gees on full display when it mattered most, and this one will be talked about for a while.

Tougher day out for the 2nd and 3rd teams — 2nds fell 34-7 and 3rds went down 0-13. Rugby gives you days like these too, and how you respond to them says just as much about a gesin as the wins do. Heads up, Tiere-familie — there's more season ahead and we back our boys every step of the way.

A tough outing for the boys, but plenty of fight shown throughout.

Not the result we wanted, but every game is a chance to grow — proud of the effort out there.
