Today was such a great day. Our 3rd Annual Kick for fun tournament. There was non-stop action.
Thank you to everyone involved in ensuring a successful event. We will post all the results soon.

Volunteer Coaches, they don't get paid,💰 they don't get bonuses,💸 they don't get trophies 🏆for their dedication, they don't get headlines. 🗞📃

What they do get is rain☔️ on every rainy training days,🌨 mud on their boots, earlier saturday/sunday alarms,⏰️ Responsibility for other people's children👨‍👩‍👦‍👦 They give up their family times🕰 to other people children's.🏃‍♂️ They finish work👷 and go straight to training and start coaching.🗣

They miss meals,🍲 they sacrifice weekends, they spend their own hard earned money💸 buying equipments🥅⚽️ and transport to attend games.🚎 They plan sessions📑 late at knight🌚 when nobody is watching.🚪

They don't do it for money,💰 they don't do it for praises 🙌.They do it because a child smiling,🤗 improving, growing💪 in confidence is worth more than any pay cheque.🤲

Volunteer Coaches✊️ are the real heartbeat of football.⚽️ Without them there is no game...✍️

KICK FOR FUN U13 TOURNAMENT – HERITAGE DAY

Secunda Spurs HC Academy is set to host the 3rd Annual Kick for Fun U13 Tournament on Heritage Day, 24 September 2026, bringing together young footballers for a day of competition, teamwork and community spirit.

📍 Venue: Highveld Christian College
⏰ Time: 10:00 AM
🏟️ Teams: Zone 2 FC | Mpumalanga Rising Stars | Dark Knights | Secunda Spurs

Beyond football, the tournament will also support the community through an annual donation project, with organisers collecting old clothes and non-perishable food items.

Let’s come together, support our young champions and celebrate Heritage Day through sport! 🇿🇦⚽️
