Not all transformation is loud or dramatic 🧨
We often think transformation only happens through hardship or major life moments, but some of the most meaningful transformations happen slowly and quietly. The key is to look out for the small wins. Here are some signs to look out for ➡️ 🔎
The pace of our 21st-century lives doesn't always allow for these small noticings, but this is often where the magic happens... This month, we're following the magic ✨

Transformation doesn’t usually happen all at once.
More often, it's with a decision to let go of what’s been holding you back, to hold onto hope, and to take one small step forward.
This is exactly what the G.O.A.L.S framework was designed for – a practical way to move from where you are to where you want to be.

Looking back, I can see that some of my greatest growth happened in seasons I would never have chosen.
The “goo” seasons. The wilderness seasons. The in-between seasons.
Slowly, they changed me for the better.
If you’re in a season of transition right now, perhaps this is your reminder: growth can still be happening, even here. 🌱

💬 Over the past two months, we’ve spoken about forgiveness and hope. About letting go of what weighs us down… and holding onto hope, even when life feels uncertain.
Both are necessary for transformation to happen, because real transformation rarely happens while we are still tightly gripping the past or believing nothing can change.
Many people arrive at coaching in the middle of transition: a career shift, burnout, grief, relationship struggles, loss of identity or simply the quiet sense that “something needs to change.”
✨And before anything outward changes, something inward must begin first: the belief that change might actually be possible.
That’s why I love Solution Focused Coaching. It doesn’t keep us stuck in what’s broken – it gently helps us move toward what could be. Transformation doesn’t happen overnight. It happens one hopeful, intentional step at a time.
So this month, we’re exploring transformation and what it looks like to move forward into a new season.

Hoping for more 🙏🏼
Sometimes the hardest part isn’t change…it’s believing change is even possible. In coaching, the moment someone begins to consider that things could be different – that’s hope.
So here’s a simple question to sit with:
➡️ Where in your life have you stopped hoping – and what might become possible if you started again?

You can’t talk about hope without talking about trust.
In the workplace, hope looks like believing the best in people. And you can't hope for the best when you don't trust that your colleagues are capable and that they can grow.
As a coach, I’ve learned that if I don’t believe my client can change, how can I walk that journey with them? The same applies to leadership.
When people feel trusted, they begin to believe in what’s possible. And when belief grows, so does hope.

In the face of the darkness, disappointment and uncertainty we experience in the world, Hope doesn't grow easily.
It needs to be cultivated with small, intentional steps.
You don’t need everything figured out.
Just the next step.

🌳🌴🌲 I’ve always had a slight obsession with trees, and this happens to be my favourite one (If you ever join me for a walk at Vergelegen, I might just take you to see it in person).
So, why trees? There’s something majestic and mysterious about them – so strong, steady, grounded.
And what we see above the ground is only part of the story. What holds them up is what’s happening beneath the surface. For me, that’s what hope looks like.
It’s my rooted hope that allows me to believe the best, to hope the best, and to stand steady with people through whatever they’re facing.
When your roots are strong, hope doesn’t disappear. It holds.
